OUR POLICY AND T&C

 

At The Filth Busters, we believe in transparency and trust. Our Booking & Cancellation Policy and T&C are designed to provide clarity and support for our clients. Read on to learn more about them.

 

1. Booking Amendments

Clients may request to reschedule their cleaning appointment at least 24 hours in advance (subject to availability).

 

2. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking will be charged 50% of the total service fee to cover lost time.

If the cleaner arrives and cannot access the property (e.g., no one is home, incorrect address), the full booking fee will be charged.

 

3. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with the cleaning service, please inform us within 24 hours. We will assess the issue and, if valid, offer a re-clean of the specific area at no extra charge.

 

4. Payment, Bookings & Late Fees

Payment is due upon completion of the service (cash or agreed method).

Late payments (beyond 24 hours) may incur a £10 late fee.

All bookings and payments must be made directly via our official booking system or by bank transfer to the business account.

Cleaners are not permitted to accept cash payments (unless is for tips) or handle bookings privately.

Bookings should always be made through the system or by contacting Ana or Becky.

For clarity and scheduling purposes, cleaners cannot arrange bookings themselves, if a client has a preferred cleaner, cleaner's name can be selected when booking via the system, subject to their availability.

 

5. Liability & Breakages

Our team handles your belongings with care. In the unlikely event of damage, please report it immediately. We will assess and offer fair compensation if proven to be our responsibility.

We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or fragile items left in unsafe conditions.

 

6. Client Responsibilities

The Client must provide access to the property at the agreed time.

All valuable or fragile items should be safely stored before the cleaners arrival.

The Client must disclose any specific cleaning requirements, allergies, or special conditions beforehand and write them on the "Notes" on the booking system.

 

7. Satisfaction & Complaints

If the Client is dissatisfied with the cleaning service, they must report the issue within 24 hours.

We will review the complaint and, if valid, offer a re-clean of the specific area at no extra charge.

 

8. Health & Safety

Our cleaners have the right to refuse service if the property is deemed hazardous (e.g., infestations, dangerous materials).

Any aggressive or inappropriate behaviour towards staff will result in immediate service termination without refund.

For the health and safety of our team, we do not clean animal or human waste (including faeces, urine, vomit or any biohazardous materials).

If such a waste is present, we reserve the right to refuse service or stop the clean immediately and client will be charge for time and travel if this occurs.

9. Changes to Terms

The Filth Busters reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.

 

10. Identification & Safeguarding

 

We are happy to show proof of our team's DBS checks upon request, however, for security and privacy reasons, photographs or copies of DBS certificates are strictly not permitted.

 

11. Photographic and video evidence for Deep Cleans

 

For Deep Cleans and certain one-off services, we take before and after photos and/or videos. This is to document the condition of the property and protect both our clients and our business in the event of any disputes.

These images are used primarily for internal records and evidence of work completed, they will never show identifiable personal items, family photographs or sensitive client information.

 We might occasionally request permission to use before and after images for promotional purposes, such as our website or social media. This will only be done with your explicit consent.
